3. Training Services

Course Enrollment

  • Enrollment subject to prerequisite assessment and available capacity
  • Course fees must be paid according to agreed payment terms
  • Enrollment confirmation provided upon successful payment processing
  • Course schedules and instructors subject to change with reasonable notice

Training Delivery

  • Live instruction conducted at scheduled times in Singapore timezone
  • Virtual lab access provided for duration specified in course description
  • Course materials remain securecoste's intellectual property
  • Completion badges issued upon successful course completion

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Full refund available if cancelled 14 days before course start date
  • 50% refund for cancellations 7-13 days before start date
  • No refund for cancellations less than 7 days before start
  • Course postponement allowed once per enrollment at no charge

4. Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in the following activities:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of securecoste or third parties
  • Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or networks
  • Conduct security testing against live systems without authorization
  • Share course materials or lab credentials with non-enrolled individuals
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or misrepresent identity
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users or staff members
  • Use services for any unlawful or unethical purpose
  • Circumvent security measures or access controls

5. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Limited license granted for personal educational use only
  • Reproduction or distribution prohibited without written permission

User-Generated Content

For content you create during training activities:

  • You retain ownership of your original work and project submissions
  • Limited license granted to securecoste for educational purposes
  • We may use anonymized student work as course examples
  • You warrant that submitted content does not infringe third-party rights

6. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimers

  • We do not guarantee specific employment outcomes or salary increases
  • Course completion does not constitute professional certification

  • Lab environments may experience occasional downtime for maintenance

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • No liability for losses resulting from unauthorized account access

  • We are not liable for third-party service interruptions

7. Ethical Use Requirements

All training participants must adhere to ethical guidelines:

  • Security techniques learned may only be applied in authorized contexts
  • Testing against systems requires explicit written permission from owners
  • Responsible disclosure protocols must be followed for vulnerability findings
  • Singapore's Computer Misuse Act provisions must be respected
  • Professional ethics standards apply to all learned security methodologies
  • Lab environments must not be used to launch attacks against external systems

Violation of ethical use requirements may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

8. Termination

We may terminate access to services immediately if:

  • User violates these terms or engages in prohibited activities
  • Fraudulent behavior or payment disputes occur
  • Ethical use requirements are breached
  • User conducts unauthorized security testing

By User

  • Users may withdraw from courses subject to refund policy
  • Account closure requests processed within 30 days
  • Outstanding payment obligations remain after termination

Effects of Termination

  • Immediate loss of access to course materials and lab environments
  • Outstanding fees become immediately due
  • Certain provisions survive termination including intellectual property rights

9. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before pursuing formal action, parties agree to attempt informal resolution through direct communication with our team.

Mediation

If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation through the Singapore Mediation Centre.

Arbitration

Unresolved disputes will be settled by arbitration in Singapore under the Singapore International Arbitration Centre rules.
